Loano - Feast of the Witches

August 13 is the night of the witches and in Loano, with the Festa delle Basüe, the atmosphere of that past time is recreated, with the trial and conviction of the witch: chained and placed in the cage, she is led to the stake by the austere Torquemada with the retinue of armigers, inquisitors, nobles and commoners.

The procession crosses the streets of the center, enriched by the presence of characters on stilts and groups of witches, accompanied by the pressing rhythms of medieval sounds played live.
