Sanremo between flowers, music and sport

Sanremo, renamed Citta dei Fiori for the rich cultivation of flowers, is one of the most famous tourist resorts in Liguria thanks also to a series of international events that have now become a tradition:

- Italian Song Festival: since 1951 competing singers, musicians, reporters and guests have made Sanremo full of a great movement of VIPs and the city comes alive with events and entertainment in every corner.

- every year in March it is the final stage of one of the "cycling classics": the Milan - Sanremo.

- Sanremo in fiore, the most fragrant Carnival in Italy: the traditional themed parade of flowered floats loved by adults and children.

For those who love pedaling with a view of the sea, the Ponente Ligure Cycle Path offers breathtaking scenery between green and blue, along the sea for 24 km. It is accessible on foot, by bicycle, roller skates and skateboards. It is suitable for families with children, with refreshment points and bike rental.
